5才よりピアノ･ソルフェージュを始める

桐朋学園大学音楽学部付属こどものための音楽教室札幌分室に通う
1993年
南聡氏に作曲を師事
1998年
札幌南高校を経て、東京芸術大学音楽学部作曲科入学
1999年
東京国際室内楽作曲コンクール（国際芸術連盟主催）入選2001年
奏楽堂日本歌曲コンクール作曲部門入選
2002年
東京大学大学院総合文化研究科入学
修士論文テーマは
「近藤譲の音楽における「一音」の布置 〜器楽アンサンブル作品を中心に〜」
2005年
無事（なんとか？）修士課程修了、4月より同大学大学院博士課程に進学
北海道作曲家協会会員。
2008年4月より国立音楽院講師。
Midori KUBOTA
Composer and improviser. She studied musical composition under Satoshi
Minami, Akio Yasuraoka and Jo Kondo. She received her B.A. in musical composition
from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (2002), and
her M.A. in Arts and Sciences from The University of Tokyo (2005) with
the thesis on Jo Kondo. She is presently studying at The Graduate School
of Arts and Sciences, University of Tokyo (doctoral course).
She composes in various styles including contemporary music, classical
music, stage music, etc. Her works include solo pieces, chamber music and
electronic music. In 2004, her work "The Shade Of Trees" was
performed by Dogen Kinowaki, Yumi Oikawa and Madoka Sato (all members of
"Contemporary α" at the festival of Japan Society for Contemporary
Music. In 2005, her work "The Blackness covers my eyes" was comissioned
and performed by Hiroaki Ooi at the University of Tokyo.
As improviser she has performed with computer and piano, appearing on stages
of gallery, symposium, etc.
She also works extensively as piano/organ player.
